I have for sale a copy of the first issue of Esquire magazine. It's the autumn 1933 issue and the only "quarterly" magazine they put out; it proved so popular that by the second issue, they were releasing them monthly.

This copy is in very good condition.  Cover is undamaged, spine is tight with very little wear around the staples, no moisture issues, and all pages are in great shape.  There's a small scrape on the bottom left corner as well as a stamp in the very middle of the picture of the float plane.  Also, it looks like this copy was in a stack of magazines for a while as there's a spot where you can tell part of it faded differently than the rest.  The first few pictures show all of this.

This copy has an article titled "Marlin off the Morro" by Ernest Hemingway.  Other authors include John Dos Passos, Bobby Jones (the golfer), Nicholas Murray Butler, Gilbert Seldes, Chas Hanson Towne, Manuel Komkoff, Ersiine Caldwell, and many more.  Topics range from true stories, fiction, sports, humor, and a good number of cartoons.

Make sure to check my other listings - I have lots of other Esquire as well as Fortune magazines for sale right now and would be happy to combine shipping.
