Don't confuse this item with the rubbish sold by the SD1 parts specialist, which is too big to fit in the sender cradle in the fuel tank - this will fit like the original. Also other sellers on ebay who supply it with a filter which is too big and will foul the sender float unit.....
This item is a direct replacement for the original item - no modification is normally required to make it fit.
