Stunning RARE Toile print!   The scene, titled "Ferme et Moulin" (farm and windmill ) thought to be produced  in Jouy-en-Josas was originally printed in the second half of the 18th century. See source in last photo.
This lovely curtain panel was printed later around 1920's or so.  Creamy color heavy cotton with linen blend, kind of a cotton canvas feel has a nice heavy drape. Really beautify printed, my guess would be that it was printed on a copper roller as the etched motif is so well done. Such an outstanding whimsical motif. A wonderful combination of love and farm life.  Cupid's, young love, shepherds with their sheep, windmills, ruins of country houses, and small boats to name a few.
This was found as a large curtain panel set I have removed the damaged lining so that I was better able to wash.
The curtain has turned out beautifully!
Wonderful to reuse as curtain or lots of wonderful fabric for many upholstery and other home decor projects!
This piece's is seamed and the images are very well aligned.
I have a second  panel the same size  I will be listing separately. This is panel one of two.

Condition: Very good for age and use! Some yellowing and small holes or tears mostly at top and right side where curtain was folded and sewn over.  A few very small spots scattered and one more notable stain/ watermark on hem at very bottom.
Please see photos and use zoom as part of item description.

Pieced from 2.5 full panels.  The original selvedges are intact on the two full panels but are sewn over.
Approximate measurements: 92” wide X  100” long  textile weighs just under 3lbs!

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
