CONDITION: V plays a little better -- the record has little gloss but somehow plays quite well and like many 50s records plays much better than it looks -- it is tested on a modern turntable with a 78 stylus and there was a small skip near the end of "KOREA BLUES" but increasing the weight played through fine -- this is really a great blues record and one of J.B. Lenoir's earliest recordings with many of his compositions being sometimes topical and controversial politically here we have J.B. and his BAYOU BOYS who were SUNNYLAND SLIM on Piano, LEROY FOSTER guitar, ALFRED WALLACE drums and of course guitar and vocals by J.B. -- "KOREA BLUES" and "MY BABY TOLD ME" are solid efforts on CHESS 1449 a 10" 78 rpm record -- please see photos for overall condition

This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.
