ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume by William Hard!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique first edition is over 113 years old!

1st Edition.  Ex-library.

In good condition overall!  Original publisher cloth binding shows some wear, including a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, some general wear around the extremities including bumping the corners and spine extremes, and some spotting and soiling to the page edges.  Otherwise this is a well-preserved antique volume!  The gilt title lettering on the spine displays nicely from the shelf.

Internally, this volume is in good shape overall.  Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding.  This is an ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers and fly pages, as well as the title page and copyright page.  Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions.

The text block of this volume is clean throughout.  There is just typical age-related toning to the pages and some light soiling scattered throughout, but otherwise this volume is clean and perfectly readable throughout!

Nicely illustrated throughout.  Make sure to see the additional photographs in the description below for a thorough look through this antique volume!

211 pages.

Measures approximately 8 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches thick.

A perfect addition to any fine collection or a wonderful gift for someone special!
