This lamp is a creamy white with brushed gold color for accent.It is made with a porcelain type material which is breakable.It takes a 7 watt bulb which I put a new one in.The cord has an inline switch.I bought this about 20 years ago,a place that carried Hallmark,and a lot of neat stuff in New Hampshire,it was Care Pharmacy actually.I think this light is so sweet,them holding hands,there expressions,just sweet.
