This is a 22-page gift book of Longfellow poetry, featuring excerpts from Song of Hiawatha, Evangeline,
The Courtship of Miles Standish,The Spanish Student, and many others.
One of the lovely illustrations is signed C. Klein.
The manufacturer is The Hayes Lithographing Co. of Buffalo, New York.
It has hand sewn binding, which is in very good condition. The cover is white, faux leather.
The others that I found were not in as good condition as this one is!
It measures 5.5 X 7 inches and includes the bottom of the original box (not in good condition).
Research shows that it's from 1910 or 1912, but no date is mentioned in the book.
Condition and Details:
- The faux leather cover has some cracks and stains.
- Inside pages are in good condition, with only minor discoloration.
- Please look closely at the photos.
- Stored in a non-smoking environment.
