The bodice of the gown is a black machine eyelet design. The red makes the design of the eyelet pop. It is in very good and wearable condition. I found no holes, spots, stains or wear to this dress. It is ready to go. It was created in the late 1930's or early 1940's. The bust is 32 inches, the waist is 25 inches and the hips will fit up to 43 inches.
