This is a cool network add on to play with in your home network. Used to be in a commercial video system.

To use it at home plug in the transmitter into your home media servers hdmi port. Then use a 100 meter CAT6 cable to run the receiver to another room. Then connect the receiver to your tv to broadcast your media.

Either transmitter or receiver can be used for internet connection, and same with the radio-232 connection. Only one unit needs connection and commands will be bi-directional.

All of this video transmission will be locally processed, so your internet speeds will be unaffected while using this to stream media.
