***The phone in the photos is the actual phone for this listing.  We have multiple listings of these Edison Phones, they are all Model TVS-5A but there are two different types of receiver, one is marked "Stromberg-Carlson" the other does not have any text and the button in the center is different.  This one is without the text.  See photos to confirm.  All info on model number and manufacturer is based on a label on the base of the phone.  Some of them have the paper label on the bottom, some it is present but unglued and some some don't have the label at all, it will be noted in the condition description.

The phone is UNTESTED, AS IS.  The card with instructions in the last photo is NOT INCLUDED in this listing, for reference only.  No Mfg. date, but a different Edison Phone we had did have a handwritten "1969" and they were purchased in the early 1970s, so they were likely made in the 1960s.  

*The phone was purchased at a Department of Defense Auction at Alameda Naval Air Station as military surplus in the 1970s, it has been in storage ever since.  Almost certainly used by a branch of the US Military or Another Government Agency.  

UNTESTED, AS IS.  The phone is in GOOD physical condition.  There are scuffs and scratches, discoloration to the bottom, the hole next to the receiver on top of the phone should have a button with the letter "L", it is missing (photos 1-3), a few of the pins on the plug are bent, some extra stretch to the receiver cord.  The label is glued to bottom.  No serious damage; cracks, chips, etc.  See photos for actual item.
