Size: 16mo (the atlas itself measures approximately 165mm x 110mm / 6 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches). Each map measures approximately 142mm x 145mm.

Description: A very attractive example of Badeslade & Toms 'Chorographia Britanniae'. I retains it's original binding and internally it consists of an engraved title page, a dedication page to The Prince of Wales, four Maps of England & Wales, three tables, forty maps of English counties with accompanying text, one map of North Wales, one map of South Wales, and two further tables at the end (46 maps in total). The maps were drawn by Thomas Badeslade and engraved by William Henry Toms.

Condition: Very good condition. Original binding, with some wear to the boards. Contents in very good order, maps and tables are very clean and clear.
