Thomas Davidson Mfg Co. was an early manufacturer of lithographed tin signs, among other tin products.

This piece of 1899 illustrated letterhead features a highly detailed engraved image of Thomas Davidson's factory in Montreal, Canada as it existed in the 1890s.
With details of the wares produced; executive, sales office and works locations; 3 digit phone numbers; and names of officers/directors, the letterhead carries a wealth of information.

The typed letter appears to be a carbon copy with its blue coloured ink.
The text of the letter addressed to a customer is a reference for a new sales person from a departing salesman presumably living up to his non-compete contractual obligations.

The letter is folded and has some small staple marks/holes top left. There is a bit of yellowing. There is some rippling on the sides and minor creasing in two of the corners. Really good condition for 120 yr. old paper.
The letterhead is on what I would say is premium (heavier) stock rather than everyday paper.

Scare I would think and likely highly collectible given the role the company played in producing so many of the advertising signs which are so collectible today.
