First edition first printing hardback of Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master & Margarita.

Dust jacket has minor edge wear. Most notably is a tear to the front face above the word master that is a few centimetres long. There is also a small piece of the spine missing at the top left corner of the spine and some nibbling at the bottom of the spine. There is corner wear to the back fold page corners. There is a long crease along the bottom face of the end page of the dust jacket.

The book has a minor lean to it. There is slight discolouring from the usual green boards of the book around the edges. The gilt lettering of the spine is in fantastic condition. Moderate tanning to page edges. Inside pages are marginally less tanned than edges. There is a fold at the start of the book that continues through to the first page of the novel - it is not major but should be noted. There is another crease that starts on the back page and continues into the last few pages of the story - again, nothing major, just notable. The book is very clean throughout.
