handforged early pair of iron bean strap barn door hinges. I purchased this set many years ago at the Heartland Antique Show in Ohio and I used them as a wall decoration. As you can see one hinge is slightly longer than the other but if you look at how they are forged I believe they were a matched pair and was also told so by the original dealer I bought them from. He told me the slightly longer hinge would have been at the bottom of the barn door for extra support.
We recently moved and downsized so it's time for someone else to enjoy them.
