I have bought something easier for me to manage so I've decided to part with Van-illa. Go to your next Elvis festival or rock & roll event in real style or have a very unique air B&B overnighter. She began life as a snap on tools truck so very sturdy steel ribs. She then became an ice cream truck & now a very roomy & comfortable motorhome. All the memorabilia stays with it. It was rebuilt from the floor up & the front cabin is all rubber matting so it's pet friendly.
Continuous gas hot water in shower & sink. 80 liter water tank & 40 liter sullage tank. The futon comes out to make a bed. You don't have to make it every day because there is a seat at the table & the cabin seats swivel all the way around. The TV arm allows you to reposition it. I have never spent a night away so never used the fridge or the shower. I have included a red oven with hot plates on the top plus a microwave.
The coating on the internal walls was starting to crack & trying to peel it off is extremely difficult & time consuming. Instead I bought 5 boxes of 60cm x 30cm glossy white stick on tiles to cover it. I have done nearly all the wall & half the ceiling. There are 3 full boxes left to finish it & have spares. Much easier to remedy in future if there is a problem in one section. There are also more retro stickers if you need them.
New brakes including booster, adjustment & bleeding. The exhaust brake is connected but needs a solenoid. Two new batteries. Reversing camera. House section has reverse cycle aircon. Solar inverter is 240v. I was only ever going to stay where I could get power & have the safety of a managed site. The only built ins are the shower & storage at the back & the kitchen bench. If you need to add bunks or change it you can take out the table, seat, futon & big dresser. That's why it has no upper cupboards. It doesn't have to be destroyed to change it. There are 3 big drawers under the futon so plenty of storage.
I Have done 2 coats of liquid rubber on the roof but the weather hasn't let me finish it. I was also going to have flexible metal sheets put over it but nothing gets done when you always have to pay people to do it. The sheets are around $70 for 240cm x 120cm so not expensive & would probably only need 3. Another solar panel could be added if you don't need the shower hatch. It has a decent sized window. There is some surface rust around the body that has been treated but not painted. The motor starts first time every time. There are no leaks anywhere around the motor. It is 1990 & has done around170ks. Insured by Shannons because it is not your run of the mill motor home that they won't cover.
The QLD pesonal plates are currently on marketplace. V4N1L4 I . Currently located in laidley QLD where my mechanic friend has been working on brakes & surface rust.
Sorry no leasing, lay buys or rent to buy. Payment by bank transfer. The system only allowed me to do cash on pickup. Will help getting loaded on to transport if unable to pick up.
