IPA 1L Spray 99.9% Isopropanol

Isopropanol Alcohol 99.99% also known as IPA, is a colourless, flammable liquid with a strong odour that evaporates quickly. It dissolves a wide range of non-polar compounds and leaves nearly zero oil traces. Compared to alternative solvents isopropanol alcohol is relatively non-toxic as a result it is used widely as a cleaning fluid, disinfectant, Fuel Additive, solvent and for its Pharmaceutical and Medical Applications.

Rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer and disinfecting pads typically contain a 30–70% solution of isopropyl alcohol depending on the exact use.  Also, Isopropyl alcohol is a major ingredient in “gas dryer” fuel additives. In addition, IPA is a  biological specimen preservative. Therefore Isopropyl alcohol provides a comparatively non-toxic alternative to formaldehyde and other synthetic preservatives. Isopropyl alcohol solutions of 70–99% are used to preserve specimens.
