Description: Published in Paris by Desnos, dated 1778.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Desnos' after 'Rizzi Zannoni'.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Le Petit Neptune Francois, ou Carte des Cotes Maritimes du Royaume. Avec une Partie de celles d'Angleterre, qui forme la Manche […]' - A decorative map/chart of the coastal outline of France and the immediate surroundings. This includes part of Spain, the Northern edge of Corsica and the Southern edge of England. Coastal towns and depth soundings are indicated along the coast. Inland is empty, except for Paris.

Condition: Fair, given age. Map consists of four sheets joined together. Browned where glued. Original folds, as issued. Three long tears from the lower margin into the image, with old restorations. The right margin creased. Some small surface damages in the folds. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 56.6 x 40.5 cm. The image size is ca. 44.3 x 34.6 cm.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 22.3 x 15.9 inch. The image size is ca. 17.4 x 13.6 inch.

Medium: Engraving with handcolouring on hand laid paper.
