This small vintage folk art painting is a one-of-a-kind piece signed by the artist Stevan Popovski. It depicts a vibrant scene of a rural party or festival in Poland, complete with colorful flowers and community homes in the background. The painting is framed and made of wood, measuring 7.5 inches in length and 6.25 inches in height.

The charming and detailed artwork was produced in 1983 using oil painting techniques. Its style and subject matter make it a unique addition to any art collection. Don't miss the chance to own this original painting from the contemporary period.

The painting on the board and, measured from the back, is 4.75 inches by 5.75 inches. The providence of the piece is written, in part, on the back of the piece. I acquired the piece from the only owner at an estate in Hammond, Louisiana. The estate was a 1970s time capsule with an international collection of treasures. The gentleman of the house was in the military as a younger man and later became a professional musician and head of the local university band. The lady of the house was a music teacher at the high school level. They traveled frequently to Eastern Europe. I have more from their collection in my shop.

Please note some spotting on the frame and a nail was added to tack the frame into place. Otherwise in very good condition.
