This unit has been significantly upgraded with a 3.16GHZ dual core Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 processor, 3GB memory, and 120GB SSD, with a fresh install of Windows XP SP3 Pro with full drivers and updates installed. 

The computer runs extremely quickly and boots in seconds- and has been maximized on this platform. The interior of the computer was fully cleaned, and new thermal paste installed on the processor for fast, cool, and quiet operation. New DVD reader/writer drive installed and works great. Software has been pre-installed including Microsoft Office suite 2007, VLC media player, and Basilisk (Microsoft Firefox clone) for internet browsing. 

This vintage Windows XP desktop would work well for a dedicated gaming , vintage productivity, or running classic programs that work best on XP. This operating system is out of Microsoft support and may not work with some programs/internet sites, so please ensure that you would like an XP machine to suit your needs.
