Vee Hobby 1/700 US Navy Battleship New Jersey BB-62 1945 Normal Edition.
New Jersey is the second of the Iowa-class battleships.
When this ship was commissioned in 1940 during World War II, she rolled through the Pacific theatre, then participated in the Korean War, Vietnam War and Lebanese Civil War, and continued to operate for almost half a century until her decommissioning in 1995, including her conversion to a missile battleship equipped with Tomahawks and Harpoons in 1981.
She is currently open to the public as a museum in Camden, New Jersey.
The kit has an injection plastic body and the standard version comes with decals.
The kit is an excellent offshore model of the New Jersey during World War II in fine detail.
