1914 illustrated half sheet invoice from McLarens Manufacturing Limited Hamilton Ontario  to a Crystal Beach Ontario customer.

The advert is for jellies and the Company. The invoice is for L.D. (Ladies Delight) Coffee.

The chromolithographed advertisement on the invoice has very strong and rich colours and depicts the McLarens office and factory at Park and Merrick Sts. in Hamilton Ontario Canada with 1914 vehicles parked in front of the building.

Two of the McLaren jelly products are also colourfully pictured.

Starting life as the Hamilton Coffee and Spice Company in a small space off an alley from John street north of Main, the company was purchased by the McLaren brothers who then expanded to new premises on MacNab street, now the parking ramp just south of the transit terminal.

Quickly outgrowing this facility by 1914 they moved to the north east corner of Park and Merrick (York Bvld) streets. The building has since been demolished after McLaren Manufacturing Limited moved to 1721 Burlington Street East. Some of the earlier products the company was known for were Ocean Wave Baking Powder; McLarens Jelly and Ladies Delught Coffee.

A 1914 chromolithographed invoice in good shape and with strong colours is scarce I think.
