This John Perry Parading Elephant with Calf Statue is a stunning vintage piece that will add character to any room. The base measuring 12 1/4 inches in length and the piece is about 9 inches in height, this sculpture is handcrafted with burl wood and resin, making it a unique and one-of-a-kind item. This sculpture IS DAMAGED, which only adds to its vintage charm. THE LARGE ELEPHANT HAS ITS EAR BROKEN OFF AND IS MISSING A PIECE OF THE END OF ITS TAIL.  I BELIEVE THE RIGHT PERSON MAY BE ABLE TO GLUE THE EAR BACK ON AND MAKE IT LOOK FAIRLY CLOSE TO ORIGINAL BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE END OF THE TAIL.  ALSO THE LARGE ELEPHANT IS NO LONGER GLUED IN ITS HOLES IN THE WOOD BASE.  With some TLC this piece will be display worthy whether you decide to try to repair the large elephant or just use the base and baby elephant to transform it into a piece your very own.  If you do decide to go the route of not saving the large elephant, please contact me about adjusted shipping.  If the large elephant is not shipped, it should take about a pound off of the shipping weight.  This item is in PARTS OR REPAIR condition with normal signs of wear.  THIS IS AS IS AS PICTURED WITH NO RETURNS.
