Vintage No 1! Magazine from 1984.

No 1! was published weekly and ran from 7 May 1983 to February 1992. It was intended as direct competition to Smash Hits, which was at its peak at the time.

Like Smash Hits, No 1! was a glossy magazine that made great use of colour, quirky graphics and fabulous photos.

Unlike Smash Hits, No 1! was published weekly and claimed "our strength is our weekliness" One of the most popular aspects was that it published the singles and albums charts every week : something that Smash Hits couldn't do as it was published fortnightly.

This magazine is complete and in very good vintage condition considering it's around 40 years old. May have minor tears and creases. Cover/Pages may be slightly loose. Quizzes and crosswords may have been filled in. May have newsagent's writing on the cover.
