Product introduction
Hasegawa 1/700 Hasegawa 1/700 JMSDF helicopter-carrying destroyer Izumo.

The Izumo, commissioned in March this year, is the largest helicopter-carrying destroyer in the history of the Maritime Self-Defense Force with an overall length of 248 m and a basic drainage of 19,500 tonnes.
It can carry a maximum of around 14 helicopters and is capable of landing and taking off five aircraft at the same time.
Armed only with the necessary armament for its own defence, it has the capacity to carry about 3,300 kl of fuel for replenishment at sea to other destroyers.
The kit consists of parts that are both precise and easy to assemble, and support parts are provided to ensure the assembly of the hull parts.
Two types of shipboard helicopters are included, as well as an Osprey and various work vehicles.

The state-of-the-art ship Izumo is kit-built on the waterline!
