Fujimi 1/700 Ship NEXT Series No. 9: IJN Battleship Yamato, Showa 19 / Operation Shoichi.

The first ship of the Yamato class battleships, Yamato, was completed in December 1941 as the culmination of large ship building technology from the Kongo class to the Nagato class.
The product is based on the motif at the time of the Battle of Leyte, when she and the second ship Musashi sailed to defend the Philippines.

The No. 22 electric probe installation on the side of the bridge is reproduced as it was before the relocation.
Air defence command post is equipped with binocular telescope as a bonus part specification.
The machine gun firing device at the front of the chimney has been reproduced as it appeared before its expansion.

The aft jib crane/airline prop, which was removed in the final version, is reproduced in its correct form, different from that of the Musashi.
The aerial working deck and the wooden deck in the centre of the ship are made up of dedicated parts.
Two secondary guns have been removed and six 12.7 cm high-angle guns are fitted.
The ship's body parts are of the closed porthole type and have dedicated parts.

The Commander-in-Chief's flag representing Commander-in-Chief Kurita's seat is included.
The parts are equipped with No. 13 electric search.
The pedestal is newly renewed! Can be turned inside out during assembly and used as a parts bin.
