PIT-ROAD PIT-ROAD G43 Japanese Army Type 92 Heavy Armoured Vehicle Late Type Product Summary

  • This is an unpainted assembly kit of a new price reproduction.
Type 92 heavy armoured car is a vehicle that was formalised in 1932 (Showa 7) for the purpose of mechanisation of the cavalry. It has a turret and crawler, and it is said that it was a combination with the infantry department that has jurisdiction over tanks that it has become an armoured car in spite of the form of a tank. One of the characteristics of the vehicle for the cavalry department was that it emphasised high-speed power while sacrificing firepower and armour to some extent, and its maximum speed was 40 km/h, which was exceptional for a Japanese tank at the time. The later type, which was improved based on the operational performance of the earlier type, had four lower body rolling wheels per side and two upper rolling wheels per side, and the shape of the guidance wheels was changed. The armament included an improved fixed mount for the 13 mm machine gun, and a flash hider was fitted to the muzzle to reduce the flames when firing at night.
