Description: From the series: 12 Months of Beauties. Originally published by Heikichi.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Shuntei Miyagawa' after own design. Gyosei Shuntei (1873-1914) or Shuntei Miyagawa was born in Aichi prefecture. He learned painting and woodblock printmaking from Tomioka Eisen, a well-known designer of kuchi-e and other typical Meiji prints. The artist specialized in quiet genre images of children and women

Subject: Antique print, untitled. This print shows four Japanse ladies in kimono near and in sea, with shells on the beach. Bathing in the sea (Kaisuiyoku).

Condition: Very good, given age. Some remains of attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
