TAMIYA TAMIYA 24323 Toyota 86 Product Outline

  • The appeal of the much-talked-about FR sports car that pursues driving fun.

The Toyota 86 is a sports car born from a big project jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru, and was launched in April 2012. It is powered by a front-mounted 2.0-litre horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with Toyota's D-4S direct injection technology, which drives the rear wheels. Almost everything from the engine to the suspension, not to mention the body, has been newly designed for driving pleasure. The car is a modern lightweight sports car with a lot of attention paid to every part of the car.
  • Model essentials.

1/24th scale plastic model assembly kit. With an overall length of 177 mm and an overall width of 84 mm, the low, compact form with dynamic surfaces is reproduced exactly as the real car. The horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine is modelled with a small number of parts and a realistic feel. Bonnet can be opened and closed. Front wheels can be steered left or right. Mirror surfaces and emblems are prepared with inlet marks. Suspension and drivetrain also have a realistic three-dimensional effect. The light parts are reproduced with plated parts to tighten up the look.
