This exquisite Pippi Spirit/Water Decanter from Kosta Boda Sweden is a true masterpiece of mid-century modern design. This clear, hand-blown Crystal Glass with a added bubble within the base and stopper of the Pippi series will add an element of sophistication to any bar , dining area or table.

No chips bites , a couple of near invisible tiny hairline scratches if searched for as with age but otherwise a near perfect beautiful piece.

These two that i have listed are the older heavy square Crystal versions where there are others to be found that are round and lighter in weight .

Note, I haven’t weighed them but these are hand blown heavy Crystal Glass decanters measuring approximately 24.5 cm without and 30 cm with stopper, width/ depth approx 8cm .

This is the Decanter on the right of the 2. It appears slightly taller and a little more slender but is actually the same width.

The one on the left has more “ hand blown “ features as in depth and shape of crystal at its base. The bubbles in the base and stopper of each are also slightly different in size which again is characteristic and evidence of being unique hand-blown pieces

Both, despite difficulty capturing in photographs are the finest examples of Kosta’s use of Crystal to create some of the highest quality glass objects available.
