Each room was delicately put together by hand with a variety of materials (listed below).

The sewing room lights up when switch is turned to the "on" position. Lights run on 2 3V batteries (included;  with extra set also included)

Some items in this scene are functional! The drawer of the sewing machine stand opens, revealing miniature buttons and zippers! The doors of the shelf open, revealing miniature bolts of fabric! Also. the ironing board folds down, revealing a miniature ironing board!

This diorama can be easily displayed on a shelf/mantle or hung with a sawtooth hanger (included in shipping).
