This attractive First Day Cover has the set of Five “Insects” stamps issued to coincide with the Centenary of the Royal Entomological Society of Londons's  Royal Charter, on 12th March 1985.

The stamp values are 17p, 22p, 29p, 31p and 34p - SG Nos: 1277 to 1281 inclusive.

The Cover is franked with the Special “First Day of Issue” - “British Philatelic Bureau, Edinburgh” pictorial postmark and includes the cardboard insert shown, with details of the occasion and the stamps.

This cover is in excellent condition with typed address (blanked out in scan). It has been treated with great care, kept in an album since purchase in a pet free, child free, food, drink and smoke free environment.
