A good quality Victorian octagonal shaped antique hall lantern with brass frame, inset glass panels and hinged door. The light has a pierced fret heart design, finials to the bottom and top and is finished with copper dome and decorative brass handle.
At some time the lantern has been electrified and it still retains its original brass candle sconce which can be unscrewed and removed.
The lantern hangs on an adjustable 50 cm chain and the brass and copper has been cleaned and lacquered. The light has been rewired and is in full working order and it comes with a copper ceiling rose hook.
