The flavor of truffles is so intense that connoisseurs use it more as a spice than a mushroom.

It can be mixed into scrambled eggs, tossed with cooked pasta, used to make risotto, flavored soups, sandwich creams, dips, sauces, paired with meat and fish, or mixed into mayonnaise, spicy jam served with game, or even honey.

The key: never cook! Stir it into the dish immediately before serving, as the heat will reduce its aroma.

Instructions for use: 

For flavoring pastas, meats, soups, and sauces, just like with fresh truffles. Due to its intense flavor, only a small amount is needed.

Ingredients: 

min. 60% truffle (Tuber aestivum), truffle-infused oil, edible salt.

Storage: 

Store in a dry, cool place; refrigerate after opening and consume within a few (2-3) days.

About Hungarian Truffles 

Hungary is home to thousands of mushroom species. Many may not know that truffles also grow here, not just in France or Italy. In the 1800s, truffles were exported by the tons to the Vienna market. Hungary was considered a powerhouse in this regard, and it still yields abundantly today! For instance, Germany has fewer truffles than us, despite having much larger forests.
