This is an antique Japanese copper Chataku (tea saucer) dating from the mid Taisho era (c.1920). It is hand pounded and is in the shape of a flower perhaps of a chrysanthemum. It has a century old warm patina.. Having been well used yet well loved for nearly a century and used lovingly it remains in good condition. It measures 4 1/8" in diameter by 1" deep (10.2 x 2.5 cm).
