Vintage Pringle 60s charcoal/black wool Henley knitted jumper top size M/14

Here we have an absolutely lovely quality true vintage knitted jumper top, made in Scotland for Pringle. This top actually has the original tag, from Finnigans of bond street. Very 60s, but This is such a timeless style top that is just as wearable today and in such a classic neutral colour as well. It would look amazing tucked into a smart pair of trousers.

New old stock, unworn condition.

Labelled as a size regular, I think this was a man’s jumper originally, but I often find with vintage menswear that it fits modern women better then the womenswear does! I estimate this jumper to fit a UK size: 14. I’m this size and it fits me perfectly.

Charcoal grey colour.

Unfortunately there is no fabric label inside that I can see, I’m guessing this was before garments had to have fabric labels. But it very much feels like a light pure wool knit fabric. It is light and stretchy and ideal for most seasons, especially as A layering piece.

Design details include Henley button up collared neckline. Full length sleeves and regular fit body with stretchy rib at the bottom.

Measurements are as follows: length of the garment, from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem: 24 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement: 21 inches unstretched.
