I purchased this 1938 book at a estate sale.  The book has been signed inside by Bob Wills and includes a signed photo that was inside it when I purchased it. The photo is 5 and 1/4 × 7 and 3/4 inches. The photo is paper thin not photo paper. But slightly glossy. When i hold the photo to the light i can see the imprint from the pen into the paper. Where the pen lightly dug into the paper. So i feel confident it is original not mass produced signature. Also it looks like pen writing. The photo has creases and wear to edges and other wear. The photo is of low quality and you can see tiny dots all over it that make up the photo. But on the signature there are no dots. The book itself shows wear. Especially to edges. Pages turning brown with age. Showed photo stain inside. The book is inscribed to Mr. Ness. There are old newspaper clippings in the back that belonged to L. R. Ness. The newspaper clippings identify him as Randy Ness lead singer of the Western Troubadours. Erased pencil note next to inscription. I have put photo inside plastic photo holder to protect it.
