A reprint item of 'GEL-MAI' released in the 1990s. Faithfully reproduces the unique asymmetrical eyelet stay that tightens the ankles as well as the forefoot that is its greatest feature.
It features an excellent cushioning by the midsole with fuzeGEL and a midsole side design.
ā About "GEL-MAI"
This is a reprint of the running shoes "GEL-MAI" sold in the 1990s.
In order to fit more to the shape of the foot, the upper and laces are designed to be asymmetrically designed, and lace holes are provided around the ankles, and it can be tightened from the back to the ankle at one point like a drawstring. It features a unique design and functional structure.
The cushioning is enhanced by mounting the fuzeGEL (Fuse Gel), a sponge material uniquely developed by ASICS, on the midsole (intermediate cushioning material between the instep and sole).
