SHRIEK! #2 magazine in Exc Cond, articles by B. Karloff & V. Price, etc Vintage
I guess James Warren sat around in the mid 1960s and just decided to publish new kinds of magazines about twice a week. And then, a year or so later, he got bored with one magazine and stopped publishing it. SHRIEK! last a mere 4 issues. I have spent a couple of hours looking for more. I do not think there are more than 4 issues, and if there are, I hope someone will put me wise. Furthermore, the ones for sale are almost all in the U.K. I don't get that, but that's where they are, according to my research.

At any rate, this is not an item you can pick up at Target. This is a hard-to-find, not-too-many-of-them-in-the-world kind of thing. Also, it's a little weird. It's slightly weirder in content than Warren's other magazines, which is REALLY saying something.

Condition information reiterated here: This 59 year old magazine is in remarkable condition for its age. On my own personal scale of 1 to 10 on condition, I'm giving it (outrageously) a 9.5; it's very nearly a 10. It's just in excellent condition. I say that and I'm not even throwing caution to the wind. I kind of feel like anyone would give it this score. The pages have much less tanning than others of the same age that I have or have sold. Oddly, a few of the pages are printed on a different kind of paper. Like a whiter kind of paper than James Warren typically uses. I do not know what w's up with that. And the cover is just in amazing shape.  Please look at all the photos and read the description for detail on condition. I am selling this, as I do all my vintage items, AS IS.
