ABOUT THE ARTIST

Adolphe RIVET (1855-1925). French medallist, born in Prigueux. He studied under Cavelier, Ponscarme and Roty. Exhibited at the Salon des artistes francais with mention honorable in 1888 and mdaille de deuxième classe in 1908.
