AMT 1/25 1977 Ford Pinto (USPS Stamp Series).

About the actual car
The Pinto was Ford's introduction to the subcompact market in 1970.
The compact hatchback-style body was initially equipped with 1.4-litre and 2-litre four-cylinder engines.
The drive system was front-engine rear-drive (FR).
In addition to the distinctive hatchback, a station wagon body was added from the 1972 model year.
The engine displacement was subsequently expanded to 2.3 and 2.8 litres, and a turbocharged version was also available.
The car was popular due to its affordable price and was produced until 1980.
They were also used in stock car racing, a popular motorsport in the USA.

About the model
