Plastic model assembly kit of the A-1J.
The Skyraider was developed as the US Navy's last reciprocating ship attack aircraft and continued to fly at the forefront for over 30 years. This plastic model assembly kit of the A-1J is the final production version of the A-1J, which appeared in 1956 and was deployed by the USAF by the hundreds during the Vietnam War, performing a major role in rescue operations for downed pilots and ground attack missions. The kit faithfully models the tough style characteristic of the Skyraider, the pilot's seat equipped with a simple escape device, the antennae added to the rear of the fuselage and other features of the Air Force version.
