This laptop has it all Intel Core 2 Dou T7250 2.00GHZ 2 gigs of memory. A 120 gig ssd boots in 20 seconds. New battery. Windows XP Pro Serial ports firewire ethernet phone modem and more.
This can be used for retro gaming or legacy apps that only run on XP. So many possibilities.
I have done a fresh install of Windows got it up to date and installed all the drivers. I even left a folder on the desktop with all the files I used plus you will get a Dell reinstall CD.
Now it is old does it have scratches on it? Of course but all you care is it works.
I will note one of the usb ports is missing the plastic part but it still works.
I have set the administrator password to 123
The driver for the Elan smbus driver will blue screen the computer
when you turn off the computer.
I went in to device manager and disabled it and no more BSOD
If you need that hardware you can go in and enable it.
Also I am including the drivers and updates I used to get the computer up and running
along with Dell windows xp install cd.
So backup the drivers as soon as you get the laptop.
