Here is a Japanese made early transistor radio branded for Silvertone, the Sears Roebuck radio and television brand, circa 1959. This radio has the classic Silvertone tall vertical presence with the "hour glass" tuning dial set up. It came in gray, coral and black, with contrasting colors on the metal dial escutcheon. Gotta love the atomic decoration on the box top.

This bright coral example is in excellent cosmetic condition, without any chips or cracks in the plastic. Both alignment tabs on the bottom are intact. The metal work is in great shape. Included in the box is the leather case (with writing inside the flap), the shoulder strap and the instructions. The radio works with low volume.

I have been collecting transistor radios and TVs for more than 25 years, and am now "thinning" my collection. Most are like new in the box, so keep an eye on my auctions!
