DESCRIPTION:

Amid the turmoil of World War II, two European couples make risky sacrifices to help Jewish refugees. Aart Vos (Martin Donovan) and his wife, Johtje (Dana Delany), who live in Amsterdam, save hundreds of Jewish immigrants by supplying them with forged identification papers. In Belgium, Emile Taquet (Alfred Molina) and his wife, Marie (Linda Hamilton), run a Catholic school for the sons of American prisoners. Emile's decision to take in dozens of Jewish boys creates tension among the children.
