HEAVY ARTILLERY LASER

Item is in excellent condition, Nothing has been glued, painted, jimmy-rigged or made to appear other than what it is. I have cleaned this top to bottom and inside and out. The sticker placement still looks great - applied with care in all the right places.

The brown computer piece fits snug, the front folding leg stabilizer is present and folds up well and stays put. Both rear tow hooks are intact. HAL still rotates up and down well- the "teethe" are still tight and functional and stay in place. The wheels are still in great shape and roll fine.

The H.A.L. (Heavy Artillery Laser) cannon is a mobile-ready weapons platform. One blast from the H.A.L. can obliterate a tank. Despite that immense power, it is designed to be light enough to be easily towed by even a VAMP

The H.A.L. features twin laser cannons. Normally, lasers would cause the turrets to become too hot that would render them inoperable. Advanced heat dampeners allow the H.A.L. to be operable for several firings. The laser cannons are usable for 30-hour cycles. A state-of-the-art computer system and synchronizers enable it to make every shot count.

Due to the nature of laser weaponry, the H.A.L. cannot be fired while it is mobile; this would prevent it from applying enough energy to a singular target in order to damage / destroy it. As such, the H.A.L. must be disconnected from whatever is towing it and set up properly before being used.

The weapon itself is an Incredible laser, inflicting like Armor Piercing Energy damage per blast. It is possessed of sensitive laser generating electronics and The H.A.L. is enhanced by the following features:

CRT Sighting and Targeting Computer: this electronic console allows the H.A.L.'s operator to acquire his target with ease, increasing his ability to hit an opponent.

Gear Cases: the H.A.L. has various kits tacked onto it, should some sort of emergency arise. For instance, it has a fully stocked tool kit, and likely has a small compartment full of field-replaceable components for the sensitive electronics used to both acquire and destroy targets.

Stabilizer Legs: the H.A.L. is fully equipped with hydraulic stabilizer legs, enabling it to be utilized in almost any terrain, assuming that solid ground is handy. Deepest desert, darkest jungle, or iciest tundra - it makes no difference, as the H.A.L. can fire the same in any of these terrains.

OPERATOR 1986 SCI-FI

He has good joints, some paint wear and paint rubs, new O-ring and no screw rust.

Appearance: bright green and silver helmet; black visor; bright green shirt and pants; silver vest with green padding; black gloves; silver boots.

Accessories: Original bright green backpack with clips on side for rifle - all are intact; original large black XH 86 LLOM beam laser rifle with peg for hose; standard long, black hose, I have also included a Battle Force laser pistol, the figure stand pictured is included. The two 1991 IMPEL Cards #58 are near mint and great for display.

Sci-Fi lives in a slow-motion world. He takes everything real easy, and he's never in a hurry to get anywhere or do anything. But that's what it takes to be a laser-rifleman. At a range of 2 1/2 miles, the impact spot of laser light will jump one hundred feet for every one thousandth of an inch movement at the source. That spot has got to be held on target long enough to burn through that source, otherwise it's no more harmful than a warm breeze.

Seymour has always had a love for electronics and high tech gadgetry, a love he has carried with him to the military. Always a slow and thoughtful fellow, the man managed to get himself enrolled in an experimental program intended to test out laser weaponry in the field. Having found his Nirvana, Seymour took to laser weapons like no one else, and before long his expertise earned him a position on the G.I. Joe team. Since the team's other laser experts, Flash and Grand Slam, were serving in an administrative capacity, the Joes needed him.

In one of his very first missions, Seymour was drafted to fly in the G.I. Joe team's space shuttle, the Defiant, in order to oppose a Cobra operation in outer space. This experience changed Seymour, and though he served on the Joe team for a bit longer, he eventually left for a time. Studying up in school, Seymour gained his Master's degree in electronics engineering and quickly returned to the G.I. Joe team, ready to try out a new wave of advanced weapons - many of which he'd built or at least designed himself - out in the field.

Soon enough, when the Joes were assembling their space-based team, the Star Brigade, Seymour leaped at the chance to return to space. More than qualified, Seymour earned his place on that team, and trained up to pilot its Starfighter Space Jet. Able to use its advanced weaponry like none other, Seymour managed to easily do battle with Cobra's similar space-bound vehicles, such as the Invader. He continued to pull his weight as a major member of the Star Brigade team until the Joes were disbanded a few years later.
