This rare 1951 book belonged to me. It is written by Fran Striker based on The Famous Lone Ranger Adventure created by Geo. W. Trendle.  It is in very good condition, especially for a 73 year old children's book. There is no writing in this 78 page book except in the blank for "This Book Belongs To" place. There are no torn or missing pages in the book.  Every page is in full color. The pages are creamy with some age toning and the color pictures have good color. The dust cover is the most worn part of the book with three small tears, frayed at the top & bottom, & the bottom corners of the dust cover are splitting.  This 7" x 5 1/4" book has a light blue hardcover, which is in very good shape, crimped slightly at the top & bottom of the spine.  The binding of this vintage book is in good condition.  This is a Sandpiper Book which are for children who have outgrown the Little Golden Books.and is planned for the child to read the book themselves.
