As beautiful as the day she was made! This is “Baby Beautiful” by Ideal, Vintage 1945. AKA “Miracle on 34th St.” Baby Doll.  She is shown in the 1947 Christmas Movie with Natalie Wood holding her beloved doll near the end of the movie. (See last photo for “still shot” from the 1947 “Miracle on 34th St.” movie) 

This exquisite baby measures 21”-22” tall. Her lovely medium tone composition is in amazing condition, with its original factory sheen. Pretty “Root beer brown” open and close eyes with all lashes present. Her original factory face paint is still fresh and vibrant. 

Molded and painted dark brown hair has no rubs (rare for these babies!) there is one little tiny (1/2”?) paint chip on side of her head which could easily be touched up if you wanted, but it does not detract in any way (and her bonnet covers it) so we left it. Her cloth body has had a couple very tiny mends over the years, and some light soiling, but it’s original and intact (inside her crier is silent) 

This sweet baby is extremely hard to find in this spectacular original condition. 

Baby Beautiful is wearing an Exquisite complete outfit. The pink satin/taffeta coat is factory original to her….The Stunning replica dress and bonnet she is wearing are vintage semi sheer type fabric with blue rayon ribbons. Decorative line stitching adorns her dress and bonnet, Both the dress and exquisite bonnet are trimmed in vintage/antique ivory lace. She has on a dress slip with matching bloomers, and NOS (New-Old stock) rayon socks with ribbon ties/bows.

Just in time for the holidays! This rare stunning beauty would make a wonderful holiday gift or excellent addition to any doll collection.
