ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume on the Scotch-Irish Society of America!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique volume is over 138 years old!

Ex-library.

In great condition overall!  Original publisher green cloth binding shows some wear, including a library sticker pasted to the front board, a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, light rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some gentle soiling to the page edges.  Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume!  Tight and square!

Internally, this volume is in good shape overall.  Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding.  This is an ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers and fly pages, as well as the title page and copyright page.  Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions.

The text block of this volume is very clean throughout.  There is just typical age-related toning to the pages, as well as some light foxing and soiling scattered throughout, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.  Perfectly readable throughout!

Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait.  Make sure to see the photos above as well as the additional photos in the description below for complete details.

210 pages.

Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide.
