That muffler? Most everyone loves the quiet exhaust tone of the KRX and  KRX4. Its just quiet enough to enjoy the trails. On the other hand, the muffler is an odd shaped eye sore. BUT IT WORKS!

Mufflers like many things offroad require a little bit of common sense. A small muffler will be loud, a big muffler will be quiet. Whether it is a 600hp Camaro or a utv, sound waves are sounds waves, and no short small diameter muffler has ever been quieter than a larger can type muffler. So if you want a quiet or quieter muffler, you need a bigger muffler. Its simple really.

Yes, aftermarket mufflers are lighter, but who cares about saving 10 pounds if its annoyingly loud. Customers have also suddenly realized that they lost power after the high dollar exhaust system.

Most people buy upgraded KRX mufflers are hoping for better sound quality, but in the end. All of them are putting their stock mufflers back on. Just read the forums.

Multiple tuners have already proven ZERO gains from ANY after market exhaust on the market to date. Multiple dyno test, from multiple different tuners. They actually show these mufflers create less horse power and torque than stock. 3 HP less for some mufflers. Tuned or not, that small number is a big loss in a UTV.

We decided to keep it stock and developed a nice looking muffler cover for it. Its made from aluminum and is ceramic powder coated to keep it looking good for a long time.
