Antique Brass and coppery bronze? powder flask

This flask looks to be made of brass and copper but I've polished a small spot on the bottom and it's definitely either brass or bronze underneath the coppery tarnish.

This item has a small split in a side seam and dinks and surface blemishes as should be expected. Apart from the one spot that I polished to check the material, the rest is in an unpolished condition.

The opening works well. I'm assuming it should have some sort of funnel but it doesn't.
